Unconfident, unhappy and issues with food, probably the best way to explain why I started to exercise.

Being on a journey of unhappiness for too many years, I decided change was needed, so the exercise began.

Until recent years functional fitness bounded into my life full of energy and confidence; that’s truly when I started to love working out, loved being strong and self love prevailed.

From starting out as the rugby boy who was more on the larger side, I knew something needed to change as I wasn’t internally happy.

Once I started to exercise I thrived on the progression of aesthetics but more so I became mentally aware of my own internal happiness and confidence.

Having the autonomy over food and exercise, something I struggled with for a very long time, proved I could achieve all I set my mind too, where I now love to life heavy, swing a kettlebell over my head, do handstand push ups all whilst aerobically pushing oneself.

Functional fitness improved my quality of life; physically and mentally . . . it can help yours too.

FAQs

We are very aware that there will be exercises within the program that people will be unsure about, which is why we have created a folder with examples of each exercise so need to worry.

One of the great things about the program is that it can be done from the home or the gym. We do put in the notes under equipment what you will need, so it may mean / be a good idea to have a KB or DB etc. At home if that’s where you intend to workout.

Your initial 3 month course is non-refundable. However, once you are on one of our two bespoke personal programs, you are more than welcome to change between the two programs at any point.

Please contact us to discuss the best program for you . We will discuss the available options and help you on the correct journey. 

To answer simply; no experience isn’t needed to perform / follow our programmes. What we would suggest, if you are a beginner, is to start on our First Step programme so you can ease yourself into physical activity.

If you are planning on following the programme from home then we would suggest equipment would be highly recommended. You wont need much; all equipment you need will be in the details underneath each header.

Our blog will have a weekly subject that we will write on, as well as challenges, prizes and more where anyone who is apart of the Ascending community can comment on.
